Saquon Barkley, the number two overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, was seen today with a wrap on his left leg. He was pulled out of practice according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan. He is supposed to be the starting running back for the Giants and this might be a major setback. It seems like it is a soft-tissue or muscle injury. Hopefully, the training staff is only being cautious with the rookie and Barkley will be healthy by the start of the season. Pat Shurmur, the Giants’ head coach, says “I think he’s all right.” For now, a lot is unknown. Stay tuned for more.
